Mr. Gardella has broad technical aptitude arising from his dual degrees in electrical and mechanical engineering and from years of representations involving DNA detection and sequencing, genetic diagnosis and screening, organic chemistry, immunochemistry, pharmaceutical and other biotechnology innovations.
Mr. van der Weide is at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he is a full professor in Electrical & Computer Engineering. He is also a co-founder of Elucent Medical Inc., Optametra LLC (acquired by Tektronix in July 2011), Tera-X LLC, and Neuwave Medical Inc. (acquired by Johnson & Johnson in 2016).
Mr. Alciati has a Juris Doctor from Villanova University and an LLM from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland focused on Intellectual Property. Mr. Alciati’s graduate studies at the University of Edinburgh focused on the intersection of technological advancements and intellectual property law across various jurisdictions and legal systems.
Ms. Carner has been specializing in intellectual property law since 2007. She has extensive knowledge and experience in domestic and foreign patent prosecution, including the filing of more than 1,000 U.S. and international PCT applications across a wide variety of technological areas, including the electrical, mechanical, biochemistry, biopharmaceutical and bioengineering arts.
